Children’s Kiva 25th Anniversary celebration

The Children’s Kiva Montessori School 25th anniversary celebration is Saturday, Nov. 17 at the Cortez Elks, 2100 N. Dolores Rd. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m., with dinner at 6:30 p.m. The event’s festivities will include dinner, cake, a live auction by Larry Don Suckla, a dessert auction, a “Paint a tile for the Kiva” project and live music featuring the band, Old North State, who blends elements of bluegrass, folk, rock and roll and punk rock. These boys put on a great, live show sure to entertain all ages! Auction items will include a “Poco” child carrier from Osprey Packs, a back country tour of Crow Canyon’s archeological excavations, locally handmade jewelry, pet care, dinners at local restaurants, salon services, auto care and many more! Tickets are $20 for adults and children 10 and over, and $10 for children ages 10 and under; children 3 and under are free.
